So I finally got up the nerve to chat with my boss about how I'm doing. I asked how he thought things were going and later told him I can't read him. He agreed that he gets a little wrapped up in projects but said he thinks I'm doing excellent. They're giving me more responsibility on this Intel job we're working on right now.
This, by the way, is kind of like events planning, which is kind of fun but super stressful. I've been on the phone and emailing all day trying to figure out this event for Tuesday. We're only a lowly post-production house! Sheesh!

I've known you all your life and I can tell you, you are an excellent event planner! At least for parties, proms, dates, shopping . . . So go get em girl! Kinda confused about your heading. I guess 5 oranges a day has taken the place of the apple.
of course your boss thinks you are doing excellent, any company would want to have you working for them, don't forget to have him give you a recommendation letter before you leave.
if you are in charge of event planning i guess you get to decide what kind of a going away party they are going to give you this week, that ought to be an experience for them because "thats the way you roll"
