It's 9:30, and I'm returning to the office after a 12 hour day. This is the second time I've come back late — the other night we all came back here at 3am after a £200 meal in Chinatown and a midnight showing of Dark Knight. Today was the big Intel show! Basically lying to journalists about how we didn't completely produce this film on the Macs at our office...
On another note. James said he would offer me a job if I weren't going back to the States. Damn. This situation actually really sucks, because I love the people I work with. I wish I could take these guys back with me to America and do what I love! That would be a good deal. Sweet. Plus everyone would love their accents. And all their toys.
My being here has been called "pronoia" - the feeling in the back of your mind that something is going right!

i'm glad you guys were able to pull it off, great job. why don't you talk to your guys and tell them how cheap it is to live in the us(columbia) especially the affordability of housing and gas compared to london and have them start up a shop over here and you are willing to head it up!!
thats the thing about working, the hours are going to come fast and furious sometimes and other times you may be bored trying to figure out what to do next.
i hope you remeber this whole boondoggle as a wonderful thing, in spite of a few hitchs(did i spell that right, you know what i mean) along the way.

I just checked back and you had added on to your post! That's fabulous about what James said. No surprise to me though! Hopefully he'll give you a great recommendation. I'm very happy that this has been a successful final week for you. You will certainly have some wonderful memories from this summer!! It will be great to have you home for a few days. (Maybe not for you. The house is a dusty mess!! But will be great in a few weeks.) So get some great sleep and relax!
